Christmas Cards (Part 3)

Here are even more of the cards I drew. Next time I'll have comics to show off. :D

I really enjoyed learning how to use the markers throughout the whole project, but I couldn't resist returning to colored pencils for at least one card. The last one here, the Snowman, was colored with Pencil.

Christmas Cards (Part 2)

Here are some more of the Christmas cards I made in December. I made one or two every day until Christmas, when I gave them all away as presents. Enjoy!

Christmas Cards (Part 1)

So for Christmas, because I'm basically broke, I made everyone on my list presents instead of buying things. I drew a picture a day and gave them away for Christmas.

These are only a few of them, but more will come soon. My favorites were the ones with white designs on top of the marker. They were all really fun to color.

Home Comic Pages!

Here are a few more pages from the comic I did in my Storytelling class.

I stopped using the lettering nibs because they were just too much of a hassle. I need to practice with them more. I'm happy with how the rapidograph turned out.

Comic!

For the majority of last semester, I was working on a comic and developing that comic's storyline.
It's the story of a giraffe who thinks he lives in Africa, when he actually lives in the African exhibit of an American zoo. His friend, the African Grey Parrot, is his giude and mentor though his journey of growing up.

In the first two pages, I had tried using lettering nibs to do the lettering, but found that I don't have the patience to work with them, and they just make a huge mess for me. I prefer the rapidograph now.

A Look Into my Sketchbook

I kept a sketchbook all summer long. I started it mid-May and I'm just finishing it now.

More to come soon.
